A young woman is the suspect in the murder of her husband, who was a policeman. Annika Bengtzon suspect that corruption is behind the murder, and sets out on a hunt for the real murderer, and puts her own life in danger at the same time.
Annika Bengtzon is a journalist and working mother of two struggling to keep her marriage alive.
