S01E12: I Want to Keep Doing It, I Want to Do It More
One hundred of Najimi's books go on sale in a local manga shop, and Najimi is a bit worried that none will sell, so she buys on herself. The last day the books are to be sold, Justice is seen near Kaneru who is buying a copy of Najimi's dÅjinshi. This prompts everyone else in the store to buy Najimi's dÅjinshi as well, which sells out her books for the second time. Later, just as she is about to stamp her contract, she is told that she will have to quit making dÅjinshi after becoming a professional, which leaves her with misgivings of what to do. Najimi tries to back out, but RyÅ«ichirÅ makes her stamp the contract and attempts to run away, but Najimi's friends help her thwart RyÅ«ichirÅ's desperate plan. SÅra later signs with RyÅ«ichirÅ's company and becomes a professional manga artist.
Overview
Doujin Work follows the life of a young girl named Najimi Osana and her exposure into the doujin world. She was first tempted into becoming a doujin artist after seeing how much one of her friends can make at a convention. Najimi loves to draw, though soon learns contrary to what she expected that this new world is anything but easy. As she attends more conventions and meets more people, Najimi eventually manages to find a group of very interesting friends. These friends already have some experience in the field and help her out along the way so that she can someday make a name for herself creating doujinshi.
