Overview
A widowed father, Tom, and his two teen children, Kevin and younger sister, Annie, find themselves trapped in a parallel universe when their jeep falls into the time portal while exploring the countryside. Together, they must learn to survive in this strange new world filled with dinosaurs, monkey-like people, and aliens.

The family discovers weird noise and static coming from Kevin's TV after an earthquake; Tom thinks the TV can be used to track down a portal to get them home.

Tom and Kevin go to find water while Stink and Tasha look for fruit during a heat wave.

Kevin is convinced that Stink is the culprit when objects start disappearing from the tree house.
