Ren Bromberg and Alexis Rodriguez are blissfully living their lives as spoiled, entitled Millennials, attempting to establish their own trendy pop-up store. Their lives are turned upside down when their parents-along with their entire Mafia-syndicate-are arrested in a sting operation. With their accounts frozen and no access to funds, Ren and Alexis need to figure out how to make money, receiving some controversial advice from Ren's now incarcerated father, who advises they take up the "family business". Ren refuses, and supported by her friends Alexis and Sal, states she'll find a way to continue her life without her dad's shady help.
A group of friends are forced to figure out how to maintain a sense of normalcy and financial stability after their mob-boss parents are arrested and their life of privilege is pulled out from under them.
