Using original evidence, never-before-seen footage and interviews with those closest to the case, including Sophie’s family and key suspect Ian Bailey, the series aims to unravel the unsolved case that has haunted West Cork for decades.

S01E04 Episode 4
Years later, the French authorities take over the investigation from the Irish Police and circle around one key suspect: Ian Bailey. A battle between cultures and judicial systems looms large.
S01E05 Episode 5
After 24 years of suspicion, the French authorities put Ian Bailey on trial in absentia. The defendant remains in his home in West Cork while French Magistrates deliberate on his fate.
