Overview
Formerly filthy rich video store magnate Johnny Rose, his soap star wife Moira, and their two kids, ĂĽber-hipster son David and socialite daughter Alexis, suddenly find themselves broke and forced to live in Schitt's Creek, a small depressing town they once bought as a joke.

Johnny and Moira attend Roland’s annual Hawaiian bash. Alexis and Ted throw a couple’s dinner party, while David and Stevie’s relationship heats up.

Moira's estranged sister, Deedee, pays an unexpected visit, while David agrees to talk with one of Jocelyn's students about being "different".
S01E12 Surprise Party
Johnny tries to arrange a surprise birthday party for Moira. Things backfire when Moira, unwittingly, takes over the planning of her own party.
S01E13 Town for Sale
Johnny finds a potential buyer for the town, while David and Alexis discover they may have become more attached to Schitt’s Creek than they ever thought possible.
