In 2022, CecĂlia realizes the harm that the "House of Paz" will do to Ăgua-Marinha and to Maria's business, leading her to make drastic changes. Maria, meanwhile, begins to see CecĂlia in a different light. In 1922, although she has become more aware of the limitations of the time, Paz uses her "influencing" abilities and CecĂliaâs best friend in an attempt to win the priest's support.
Paz is a self-centered influencer who arrives in the town of Ăgua-Marinha, where she clashes with a local activist and is âcanceledâ for offensive insults. One hundred years earlier, in 1922, CecĂlia is facing a forced marriage â a life she doesn't want â in Ăgua-Marinha after her parentsâ death. Mysteriously, the universe gives the two women an exit as they are swapped into each otherâs bodies.
