TUNG learns that WAI’s office has been renovated by FUK for a month. FUK has left his mobile phone in WAI’s office. After getting a call for FUK, TUNG and WAI go to visit FUK’s mother-in-law at a private care home for the elderly. There they discover that FUK was originally called CHAN WAI-KEUNG and that after the deaths of his wife and son, he meant to give himself a new name in order to help forget the trauma. After returning to the police station, TUNG asks MARY to probe into FUK’s backgrounds. FUK is almost struck by a falling object, which makes TUNG feel the need to put him under 24-hour police protection. The druggie CHAN WAI-KEUNG manages to escape from the police station.
