Under KIN’s influence, SHING becomes addicted to opium. KIN subsequently gains full control over YUEN because of SHING. KIN makes trouble at Tsu Yin Restaurant. HUNG steps in and realizes that KIN has been appointed as an official in the police force. TSUI discloses KIN’s secret in the form of a comedy to everybody. The villagers learn about KIN’s secret and they are no longer afraid of him. HUNG sneaks into YUEN’s house and discovers that his son SHING is seriously addicted to opium. KIN is enraged for TSUI has disclosed his secret to the public and he tries to kill her. HUNG rushes to the scene to stop it. HUNG successfully helps SHING to get rid of the addiction. YUEN fires KIN and sends him to a very remote location in the northwest. TING bribes the policemen to torture KIN. KIN eventually falls down from the cliff. TING announces that KIN has died and everybody is overjoyed……
Overview
Men Don't Cry is a TVB period comedy series broadcast in October 2007, to celebrate TVB's 40th Anniversary. The shown was rerun from Thursday, January 29, 2009 to February 26, 2009 from Monday to Friday at 12:05am on TVB Jade in Hong Kong.
The Chinese title is a reference to Shi Jian, who had played as villains in many Wong Fei Hung movies featuring Kwan Tak Hing as Wong Fei Hung, and later in TVB's television series.
Reversing the trends set by previous Wong Fei Hung stories, the title archvillain assumes the leading role of the series, with Wong Fei Hung as the supporting role.
