Floortje Dessing continues her journey with photographer Jasper Doest from the Netherlands to Nepal. During this long and adventurous journey over land, they record how people and animals live together. They continue through Turkey towards the border with Iraqi-Kurdistan. Just before they cross that border, they visit Hasan. He gives disabled animals a new chance. Once they have arrived in Iraqi Kurdistan, Floortje and Jasper see how dogs are used to clear land mines. In a refugee camp they meet the Syrian Ayas, who cares about the animals that live there.
