Overview
Post her divorce, Amanda has had to downsize and up sticks to South Harlesden, or as the Estate Agent calls it SoHa (definitely not the area around Wormwood Scrubs prison). With both Manus and Georgie now at secondary school, Amanda has to try and get her head around raising teenagers, dealing with modern motherhood horrors like teenage drinking, fake Instagram accounts and eco anxiety. After embracing minimalism (or as she calls it, ‘simpletonism’), Amanda is forced to sell the contents of her lock up at a car boot sale.
S01E03 New Job

Amanda goes on a date with South African property developer Johannes, while Georgie and Darius’s relationship starts to get serious, much to Anne’s delight.
S01E05 Camping
Much to Amanda’s annoyance, Anne organises a camping trip to the New Forest. What should be a wholesome weekend away ends up being a nightmare, including snakes, drugs and UTIs.
S01E06 The Heesas
Amanda takes over organising the end-of-season football awards, so no more tracksuits and sausage rolls. It’s now black tie and cocktails. Not everyone is happy about this.
