It is the evening before Halloween. While in the city of the totengraeber and its grausigen companion Klaus and James out-robs a bank, Sir Hubert its Billy and Queenie maintains friends with Gruselgeschichten. It tells of the ""lila shade of the fright"", which makes the remote Kuscheltierfriedhof of the city uncertain. A terrible nebula thing, from which no animal can escape. Billy dismisses that everything as superstitious gossip and separates from its companions. It hunts pitch that on the playground the Totschlaeger Toelen meets it, and it just on the animal cemetery, where they leave it to its fate. But also the totengraeber selected this place, in order to bury its booty. Billy, which hinterherschnueffelt, is hunted by two ugly cemetery cats into an open grave. Fortunately the eccentric mole appears Nestor and saves to it the life...
Overview
Billy the Cat is the title of a Franco-Belgian comic strip by the Belgian Stéphane Colman and Stephen Desberg, as well as an animated cartoon adaptation, amongst others. Both comic and cartoon deal with the everyday and secret lives of urban animals, although they take very different approaches to it, and while the characters are largely the same in both versions, the stories and situations are very different.
