YAU asks CHEUNG why he had to dig through HIU-TUNG’s rubbish but CHEUNG does not answer. She tells CHEUNG why she has been putting up with him and reveals that it was he who made her decide to become a police officer. CHEUNG does not respond to what he hears, which disappoints YAU greatly. After serious consideration, CHEUNG goes to see YAU and brings her back to his home, where he reveals to YAU how HIU-TUNG has ruined his life. He believes that HIU-TUNG is the real rapist and murderer. CHEUNG seeks YAU’s permission to continue to follow up the case so that he can catch the villain with his own hands.
