Ivan asks the partisans in the vicinity of Prerov to accept him into their detachment, Milena writes a letter with the reasons for his departure. Ivan goes to the detachment, where Jaki tells him that Bogdan was released from the Gestapo, and that Ivan will not be admitted to the detachment.
