KWONG gradually accepts TUNG’s way of handling cases. He even speaks good words for TUNG in front of LUNG. BO runs away as she is reluctant to study abroad. KWONG meets BO at the pier and misunderstands that she attempts to commit suicide. KWONG arranges TUNG and BO to discuss BO’s future. BO wants to become a policewoman. TUNG objects. KWONG criticizes TUNG. TUNG eventually allows to let BO try. TUNG is enlightened by KWONG and has changed his impression on KWONG. ADA will return to Hong Kong soon. KWONG helps ADA to look for an apartment. BING learns about the case and spreads the news to all departments. TSUEN is very depressed as his colleagues at the social centre thought that he had stolen some tissue paper. Later, MAY and FUNG even accuse TSUEN stealing money. MAY and KUEN intend to move out. MAY suggests TSUEN to leave. TUSEN suffers a great blow when he learnt about their plan. He sits at the roof-top in a mood.
Overview
The story follows the lead characters through their experiences as members of the Police Negotiation Cadre (PNC). The PNC is a volunteer unit of the Hong Kong police force specializing in negotiations with terrorist members, partakers of local violence, and individuals contemplating suicide. The whole series is dotted with both large and small cases handled by the story's heroes and heroines.
